Hellacoasta Harpoon
Have a terrible time.
Have a terrible time.
A twisted vision of RollerCoaster Tycoon where many of the metrics are inverted, and common mistakes are the goal.
Hellacoasta Harpoon turns a theme park into an afterlife. This OpenRCT2 project reworks the familiar management loop around misery, loathing, and the progression of its unfortunate guests.
Death is a change of status
Souls persist through punishment. Misery, loathing, and hunger shape their progression through Zombies, Ghosts, Demons, and eventually Lawyers.
The park has other priorities
Demons feed on sidewalk vomit and burn litter. The familiar park machinery is being bent toward a different set of incentives, one system at a time.

Corporate field manual
Your contract: custom win conditions
Build awful rides. Keep your souls. Make the numbers rise.
Win the scenario by reaching a Hell rating of 666 and 4,000 souls wanting to go home. Misery fills when happiness falls, and Hell rating rewards suffering. Ordinary souls cannot leave. Only qualified Lawyers return to Earth.
Corporate commendations
These are extra goals; your original contract stays intact. The manual tracks your progress and marks completed commendations as DONE.
